I called Atlantic Duct Cleaning as the authorized provider of Aeroseal in the Northern Virginia area. I wanted the ducts in my 1967 home to be sealed. I called in late August and was given an early October appointment. The service provided by this company was above and beyond what I expected. I thought they were coming only to measure the air pressure in my system and to blow the chemical used to air seal the ducts. I was wrong and I want to share my experience: Alfonso and his crew (Carlos and Edwin) arrived early in the morning of the day of service. I showed them the supply registers and returns and they started inspecting the ducts. It turns out my ducts were collapsed in some sections of the house, had large holes in other sections, or needed to be cleaned. Obviously, they did have to cut through some drywall in the ceilings to be able to diagnose the issues. They were super clean, vacuuming as they were cutting the drywall. They spent the whole day trying to fix what was fixable. At the end of the day, at around 4:30 PM, they unpacked the machinery to seal my ducts. The initial reading showed that more than 50% of my air was lost and everybody was pessimistic about the final results. However, after about 75 minutes (longer than the average treatment) of the process, my ducts ended with about 3.5% air loss. Before leaving, Alfonso even gave me recommendations about how to fix the issues with my ducts. I am very happy with the service they provided and I strongly recommend it. I now have an official certificate of the status of my air conditioning system.

Darnell FriedJoel and Steven were prompt, wore their masks and put their shoe coverings on upon entering the house each time. Joel explained everything to me and showed me pictures at the end. He provided me with a brochure that explained the anti-microbial application which I elected to take as my issue had been with a musty odor coming from vents. This is applied after a thorough cleaning of the vents. Both men were courteous and professional. I would like to note that Atlantic was recommended to me by my AC company. I was very pleased with the service and would recommend this company. Thank you Joel and Steven.

Catherine ConteAlfonso, Gerber, and Erick from Atlantic Duct Cleaning came to my house to clean and seal my heating and air conditioning ducts. The ducts had been installed in the house over 50 years ago and were dirty, leaking air, and inefficient. Gerber and Erick opened all the ducts, cleaned them and then checked for air movement. Then they sealed the ducts using Aeroseal. They reduced my duct leakage by 97%! After the sealing was completed Gerber and Erick carefully cleaned and vacuumed throughout my house and stairs and returned the furniture and carpets to their original places. They used a fan to ensure that the fumes were kept to a minimum. All equipment was dismantled and returned to their van. They were courteous, went about their work quietly and efficiently without disrupting my daughter who was working from home. Alfonso informed me during the process and answered all my questions. He walked through the house letting me know what was done in each room and checked for cleanliness. This could not have been a better experience and I can’t wait to see my next gas and electricity bill!

They did a quick walkthrough of the house with me, explained the process and got started. Took a little more than 90 minutes for a larger single family home. They cleaned up and did a final walkthrough. This is when they showed me the before and after pictures and the work that was done. It looked great. They even fixed a ceiling air vent that was installed poorly by the last home owners. Will definitely recommend and will hire again in the future.
